War

War is an armed conflict between two or more groups within a specific area. Humans engage in war to solve disagreements, protect their longevity, justify political or moral beliefs, and other various reasons. Some think war is necessary, while others see it as nonsensical. Whatever the case, it exists and is a factor of our lives. Whether you have a family member that is being shipped to the front line of battle, have lost a neighbor from a drone attack, or even have served in a military force. We all can relate to war in some form or another. Many nations would not exist today without such violent conflict because their land was acquired by conquering its previous owner. War is very similar to evolution because the "winner" survives and carries on its legacy and ideals forcing the defeated to move on or die out. The question many would ask is if war is really needed in a modern society? Yes, and No. Logically if everyone on earth suddenly agreed to stop fighting with one another, war would be very rare or just wouldn't exist at all. The problem with that idea is that the chances of it happening are slim to none. Everyone is different and they have various beliefs, aspirations, and cultural history. It would be nearly impossible for everyone to have things exactly how they want them. War presents itself as a more primitive option when discussion and verbal agreements can't seem to solve the problem. Until the human species realizes that battling with one another isn't necessarily required but should be looked at as last resort effort to ensure longevity and future existence, we will continue to fight for our own causes hoping to silence whatever opposition is in the way.
