Passion

           When one possess a rather strong and possibly uncontrollable feeling towards someone or something, it's called passion. In life one would typically become passionate at least once but it takes a special someone/something to evoke such a feeling. People aren't inclined to becoming passionate about many things because when doing so it can make you emotionally unpredictable. Without knowing if someone felt very strongly towards a certain sports team, the reaction from joking about their playing ability could rub them the wrong way causing them to react more emotionally than logically. Passion isn't as simple as just liking something on the surface. It goes a deeper into the specifics of who, what, when, where, how, and why the emotions are affected. One of the key points of passion is that the emotions are not only unpredictable but rather heavy. To effectively define passion you would have to address love as well. The two are very similar due to the strong emotions but passion isn't necessarily limited to people but with ideals, hobbies, environments, etc. The saying "wear your heart on your sleeve" would definitely apply to passion because such great emotion would be difficult to conceal. Be in mind when thinking of your passions that they may come off too strong for some but if your true to your feelings and have good intentions you shouldn't have a hard time being passionate.
