Credibility

As you progress through your life, you gain experience and trust with various people based on your actions. This is what you can call obtaining credibility. This means that you have a track record of consistency and/or reliability that is attached to your name. People value credibility because they know they can count on you and the results you present to them time after time. Similar to gaining respect and things of that nature, becoming credible is a process that takes time. Showing up when called upon, being truthful, and being genuine are things that would aid you on your task to becoming more credible. It can take a while to obtain a high level of credibility but it can also be lost with simple inaccuracies and shortcomings. There wouldn't be much value in being credible if the path to acquiring that aspect of yourself was an easy one. If you are the kind person who finds it difficult being reliable, routine is the only way to improve on that side of yourself. Small and minor changes to the way you conduct yourself would be much more easier than a sudden drastic change to your personality. If you stick with it, slowly but surely you'll start to see people looking for that part of you that seems to be brought out on a routine basis. There is also a good chance that they will then share their experiences and feelings about your consistency with others. This can also validate you and actions. Whether you're watching a television show, reading information on a website, or simply talking to a friend, you tend to gravitate to those that you find to be credible. The reason for that is because people like to know what they are getting themselves into and what they are going to get out of it. If you are looking to become credible, consistency with your actions and speaking the truth will definitely help you along the way.

Integrity

For the most part, as we go through life we all would like to be respected by one another based on the way we conduct ourselves. Integrity deals with the idea of someone being trustworthy and having very strong moral values. Becoming a person who has great integrity isn't an over night act but a habit practiced over a period of time. Similar to building a relationship with a person, one would have to compare the actions that you display to previous ones experienced to gauge whether they are consistent or not. Consistency in morals, beliefs, and actions help build your integrity and because of this people will begin to form a specific view of you. Perception is one of the main components of this term. How people perceive you to be initially may not be the same way that they view you later down the road. The idea of someone who's moral views and trustworthiness that seems to change frequently can cause people to lose faith in your validity. Being someone who remains true to their actions time after time is a person who can be relied upon and will usually deliver no matter the circumstances. If your goal is to become a person who has a substantial amount of integrity, always remember that its an aspect of life that occurs time after time, and  not something that is plainly stated to be so.

Organization

It is all too common for the vast majority of the population to not be that well informed on the art of organization. Most are completely oblivious to the enormous benefits that organization can extend into their everyday lives. However, there is good news. This is a skill that can be easily acquired.

By being organized you can dramatically change your quality of life and also improve it in subtle and quite obvious ways as well. Some people misperceive the art of organization as something that will take up all of their time and requires filing your cds in alphabetical order or even being anal retentive about small insignificant tasks. Every person has a wide ranging variance on their perspective of this essential skill.

Being organized involves an individual’s personal preference, style and personality. There are people who tend to steer toward color coding and post-its in their office in order to feel organized while others may be more particular with date books and to-do lists. Others may even operate on complete an utter “organized” chaos where they are truly the only individual to find order in their own madness.

Staying organized can keep you healthy. It is a widely known fact that stress can affect your health both physically, mentally and emotionally in a variety of ways that are harmful to you. By being organized, you can dramatically reduce your levels of stress with very little effort.

Aside from reducing stress substantially, you will present yourself in a much more professional light by being well organized. If your office or home is unkempt and chaotic, it can leave a bad impression on anyone who may choose to drop in. Being organized will portray an aspect to yourself that you have everything under complete and total control.

Organization can even help you save money. When you find yourself unorganized, you can often overlook things that you already have but may be spending money to repurchase. If you maintain a more organized home or office, you will create a better overview of your life when it comes to expenditures and finances. Spending only on things you honestly need and afford is a positive side effect of proper organizational skills.

Besides saving money, organization greatly saves individuals time. When you have your workflow well organized and neatly in place, you can quite easily set your priorities in order of what needs to be done immediately allowing for better management of work. Not only does this time saver assist you while on the job, but you will also gain more time in your personal life with your new found organizational skills. By being well organized you will gain a clearer perspective of what you need to do which will permit you to better delegate time for yourself and loved ones.

Forgiveness

As humans, we aren't all perfect. When our actions (whether good or bad) bring upon a negative reaction, we tend to look for forgiveness. This term refers to the overlooking of mistakes or wrongdoings. People forgive the actions of others to retain relationships, give second chances, or because the situation had little to no effect on them to begin with. When truly forgiving someone you must forget the persons actions completely. This can be hard for some people because the pain endured over the situation isn't easy to forget. Throughout life you will be hurt but what you must remember is that if you're strong, you will heal over time. Refusal to get over being hurt or done wrong by someone will eventually make you bitter. Forgiveness is a way to, in a sense, start with a clean slate while continuing your relationship with someone. Looking past bad vibes and experiences with someone would only be wise if you truly trust that this person. Forgiving someone that continues to hurt or steer you wrong wouldn't be something that most would recommend. There is something called being "too optimistic" when it comes to hoping for the best. When it comes to forgiveness you really have to be honest not with just yourself but the reality of how things will play out. If you feel that its worth doing, then go for it. If not, you don't have to beat yourself up about cutting ties with someone. Forgiveness should only be for the people that you honestly believe should remain in your life or somehow found themselves down the wrong path and just need a second chance.

Unity

For the most part, people would agree that there is strength in numbers when approaching something challenging or difficult. Unity has to do with separate parts, pieces, and aspects coming together as a whole. Moving in unison gives great advantage to those united due to the combined effort and characteristics that make up the specific unit formed. You can see many display’s of unity with our government, police and fire departments, sports teams, military forces, and many more. Leadership plays a big role when unifying a collective group. To create a successful bond between different people the leader must be aware of most strengths and weaknesses so that they can be complimented accordingly. Unity is also good for social interaction and learning. Sharing ideas, emotions and physical interactions can help build a better bond with a specific group making it much more effective when tackling various tasks. When the idea of unity comes up, the quote “all for one, and one for all” would be a perfect way to describe the term. When becoming united, actions of the individual reflect and influence the whole. Moving together and complimenting one’s surroundings would be a great way to ensure a long lasting unity between you and the group or organization you are a part of.

Evolution

Possibly one of the most controversial discoveries of mankind, evolution is the gradual growth or development of something from a simplistic form to a more complex one. Many may argue or question this to be true because it's hard to believe that humans evolved from anything else than an all powerful creator due to the complexity of our species. To fully grasp the concept of evolution you must assume that the earth is older than a few thousand years old. Evolution takes time in terms of natural selection so it would be nearly impossible for humans to evolve from much of anything in such a short amount of time. The first organisms we're believed to be very simple, only eating to survive and reproducing to avoid extinction. Eventually the weaker species migrated to avoid being eaten and this cycle repeated over and over again. This process can be applied to many things. Cell phones (with the influence of human control) evolved from simple mobile telephones to touch screen smartphones that are even more capable than some desktop computers.  In this sense, the phone companies that couldn't keep up with the constantly changing technology were presented with the same choice as the early organisms. They either had to find a way to flourish how they currently were or settle with being obsolete. We now see that there are more smartphones than ever before, which somewhat proves the idea of evolution to be true. When thinking of evolution, one should not only think of where in life something exists, but how it got there and what influenced it on its journey to its destination.

Solace

Life isn't always full of happy days and positivity. Sometimes you may need to offset sad moments and negativity by finding solace. Some may call it an escape or finding peace, but solace is the idea or feeling of comfort during hard times. Solace is a way to keep your emotions and mental state in check while your journey of life takes an unexpected turn. An example would be if you get a bad grade on a test and you watch your favorite television show to take your mind off of the failure you endured. By doing this, it is possible to reset your mood and thoughts so that you can either move on or attempt to try again with your shortcomings. Finding solace isn't just limited to watching t.v. Solace can range from artistic expressions, conversing with friends, traveling, trying new foods, reading inspirational books, etc. The trick is to find out what keeps you "sane" during chaotic moments so you can effectively function. What may work for someone you know may not necessarily work for you. Be in mind that the concept is to avoid being overwhelmed by the lows of life, not to ignore them. If what you find solace in is affecting your progression or ability to alleviate negative situations then you may need to find another way to do so. Finding peace in various activities and moments can be difficult, but if you are true to yourself and do whats best for you, it can make things a little more easier to handle.

Character

Character refers to the thought process and moral values that are distinct to a specific person. Character is what makes you unique from everyone else in the world. As humans we tend to judge people based on their character when becoming aquainted with them. We are taught to put our best foot forward and carry ourselves with respect. In other words, the majority of society is encouraged to have good character. In doing so, one would make good decisions that would benefit them without harming others, share success with loved ones, strive to make the best out of a particular situation, and many other things. The problem is that we all aren't perfect so we have flaws and shortcomings. Character is not only composed of ones positives but the negatives as well. The trick into having good character is to offset your bad habits and negatives with positivity and good intentions. The world we live in isn't absolute, meaning there isnt a such thing as a "winning formula." With that being said, you just have to accept people's character for what it is as and lead by example. In doing so, you display your beliefs and mindset that will give others insight on whether or not to follow suit or go their own route. Various experiences during life also shape character and further help you grow into the person you are today.
When defining ones character, always be in mind, its not who they claim to be, but who they truly are and how they came to be that way.

Giving

Giving is an action that is widely practiced by us as humans. We give emotion, attention, gifts, advice, etc. There are many reasons why one would choose to share with another but for the most part it is too convey a positive message or vibe to someone else. Gifts are intresting because they have a way of invoking strong emotion when recieved. The idea that someone took their thoughts, time, and energy to reach out to you in such a way can feel great at times. The cool thing about giving is that it can feel just as good being the giver versus the receiver. An example could be if you are having dinner with someone to celebrate your new job promotion. You both get your bill for the meal and you have the bright idea to pay for the two meals. Considering you now are making more money due to your promotion it would be nice to spend a little of it with the person who is sharing your success at the dinner you attended. Be in mind, giving ranges from physical to emotional and spiritual gifts. Just because you dont have an abundance of worldly materials doesnt mean that you cant give in another form and that it won't be appreciated. Always remember, its the thought and emotion behind gifts that make them more special (not the pricetag). So when you find yourself stressing over what you can give someone, dont think of the gift itself, but how do you want them to feel when you give it to them. The rest will fall into place.
