Character

Character refers to the thought process and moral values that are distinct to a specific person. Character is what makes you unique from everyone else in the world. As humans we tend to judge people based on their character when becoming aquainted with them. We are taught to put our best foot forward and carry ourselves with respect. In other words, the majority of society is encouraged to have good character. In doing so, one would make good decisions that would benefit them without harming others, share success with loved ones, strive to make the best out of a particular situation, and many other things. The problem is that we all aren't perfect so we have flaws and shortcomings. Character is not only composed of ones positives but the negatives as well. The trick into having good character is to offset your bad habits and negatives with positivity and good intentions. The world we live in isn't absolute, meaning there isnt a such thing as a "winning formula." With that being said, you just have to accept people's character for what it is as and lead by example. In doing so, you display your beliefs and mindset that will give others insight on whether or not to follow suit or go their own route. Various experiences during life also shape character and further help you grow into the person you are today.
When defining ones character, always be in mind, its not who they claim to be, but who they truly are and how they came to be that way.
